Youth Work Apprenticeship Framework
The Education and Training Standards Committee for Wales (ETS Wales as part of Joint Education and Training Standards Committee for Youth Work - JETS) is revising the Welsh Apprenticeship Framework for Youth Work. The revised Framework will comply with the Specification of Apprenticeship Standards for Wales (SASW) and will incorporate the new (February 2015) Youth Work Practice qualifications at levels 2 and 3.
Other components within the Framework include Essential Skills Wales, Wider Key Skills and Employee Rights and Responsibilities and may include Additional Employer Requirements. The Framework also includes other information and guidance, such as details of progression opportunities and the minimum number of hours for on and off the job training carried out as parts of the Foundation Apprenticeship and Apprenticeship programme.
