Learner Support Fund (Group)

Are you ready to elevate Youth Work practice in your region? The Learner Support Fund is now open for applications, offering up to £2,000 per region to support creative and collaborative training initiatives.

This fund is designed to help organisations and regions work together to deliver impactful learning opportunities for Youth Work practitioners. Whether you’re planning a podcast series, an e-learning module, or a video-based workshop, we want to hear your ideas!

Who Can Apply?

  • Regional partnerships are encouraged and will be prioritised.
  • Individual organisations may also apply independently.

What Can Be Funded?

  • Innovative training formats (e.g., podcasts, videos, online learning).
  • Collaborative projects across Youth Work sectors (voluntary, local authority, etc.).
  • Activities that directly enhance Youth Work practice.

What Cannot Be Funded?

  • Youth Work qualification fees (e.g., Level 3 Certificate, HE courses).
  • Registration fees, DBS checks, or personal development courses not linked to Youth Work.

Submit your completed application to ets@wlga.gov.uk.

Applications will be reviewed by the Scrutiny and Sustainability Subgroup of the Youth Work Workforce Development Group.
