Education Training Standards (ETS) Wales coordinates workforce development for the Youth Work sector on behalf of the Welsh Government, ensuring practitioners are equipped with the skills, qualifications, and professional learning opportunities they need to support young people across Wales.

Through our website, Youth Work practitioners can access a wide range of training, accredited qualifications, and development resources designed to strengthen practice, build confidence, and promote high standards across the sector.

Youth Support Worker Qualification

Level 3 Certificate in Youth Work Practice

The Youth Work Training Academy can offer the Level 3 Certificate in Youth Work Practice to practitioners in Wales, who are working less than 16 hours and who are in need of a more flexible package, whilst still still gaining the skills and knowledge base needed to be qualify as a Youth Support Worker.
