For those whose main career is youth work, working on par with teachers, social workers etc.
University programmes that are JNC recognised confer Professional Youth Worker status on students who successfully complete the course.
ETS Wales holds a list of all courses and programmes that confer qualified status for youth workers.
For the purpose of being recognised under the terms of the JNC, the course or programme that you studied on must be included on this list and for the dates when you were engaged in study.
