Youth Work Training Academy for Wales
This pilot scheme will be a delivery arm for professional learning for Youth Work in Wales, which will bring together expertise within the sector to design and deliver learning opportunities for practitioners, in ways that are achievable, innovative and contextualised in the Youth Work setting.
To do this, we are looking to appoint a few people to a couple of training and assessment roles:
Youth Work Tutor Assessor - this role is designed to work with practitioners who wouldn't be able to achieve the Youth Support Worker qualification through the traditional pattern of delivery, due to a few factors, such as being part time, having small contracts, or caring responsibilities, and therefore need flexibility in the tutoring and assessing of the course, without compromising on quality. This person must meet the person spec on the job pack attached.
Youth Work Trainer - this role focuses on professional learning for practitioners, on topical issues affecting young people. The intention is to bring together people with the best knowledge and skills on specific issues, to help us design resources, create different ways of learning and deliver training. This person must meet the person spec on the job pack attached.
Please be aware, that expressing your interest at this stage does not guarantee employment and those looking to apply must be able to comply with the requirements set out in the attached job pack.
